Nibbling On Tuesday through the night I pretend that I do not miss you and lay awake quietly nibbling on Tuesday as I desperately try to live in this moment but my mind wanders I feel way too much and can not forget even though I pray to for every face I see in crowds becomes yours my heart jumps in that possibility only to know disappointment and one year to fifty does not bring me any closer to any settling of spirit time has been gentle so I have no fear of the creeping of years as waist muscle sags the heart strengthens and I tend to learn things the hard way here in the darkness heavy sheets of Tuesday miss where now the day sadly gives way to other dreams just some words cut from |
