.
Already I can feel it is a day of aching scars
when I will wish that I could pray,
maybe even offer sacrifice seeking some relief;
the sun has sent a tongue of light
just now between the trees
while the evening’s cool,
like a dragon,
breath worn weary from
the lightning memories,
the thunder dreams,
struggling flight through unending storms,
turns toward the night as it slips away,
retreating into darkness.

wrap yourself tight
in the hint of afterglow
light diffused
is still light

Night quiet
a soft cover
comforter.
One's own light
shedding old "truths"
like cat hair,
to grow a new coat.

Wishing you a soft cover, Mr. C.

Oviously, this touched me........jo

Praying is easier than you think.
