when rockets red glare beating hearts burst in the air freedom isn't free BBQ symbols the fires of cooking flesh reality smokes covering my ears wiping rivers of hot tears freedom's just a word when the smoke subsides someone must count all the hides then they raise the flag |

Thanks for reading JO and Dixie. I know it's not a pleasant read. I hate the sounds of tonight. Whistling noises and kabooms. Only if you've never been caught in the REAL of them can you giggle with glee when surrounded by nonstop fireworks. And I shall never apologize for this attitude. |
