Shame shines in her eyes Touch me he tells her like this and like this Don't tell your mother don'ttelldon'ttelldon'ttell This is special just you and me baby this is how big people love like this like this like this don'ttelldon'ttelldon'ttell tears on her face hand over her mouth I love you I love you I love you DON'T. TELL. DON'T. TELL. DON'T. TELL. She turns her dollies faces to the wall so they can't see they can't tell they can't accuse her with their eyes. So they can't tell. Her teddy under the bed lost to her now because big girls dont (don'ttelldon'ttelldon'ttell) need such things anymore. Shame shines in her eyes. |

OhPaula~ This is so real to far too many~ This hurts ... aches ...~ And whether we realize it or not, the ache lasts a lifetime~ We do need to teach the little ones that 'don't tell' is a red flag that tells them that the secret needs to be told immediately~ I'm not allowed to type in what I really feel about the monsters-of-the-night ... but know that right now my mind is whirling with some mighty naughty words that would never pass the filters. We have to listen to the children ...~ *Huglets*  ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
