women of a certain age are entitled they spread out in the restaurant booth books shopping bags shawls totes indiscernible items bright birds in gypsy skirts they preen their breast feathers dust crumbs from blouse fronts stretch their hands admiring silver rings tell tales of lost loves and lusts peck at beignets sip coffee lost in cream unconcerned with others they laugh raucously in their bird voices boast of grandchildren speak of spirituality politics in wisdom honeyed words an occasional oh my dear! is heard a slight titter women of a certain age pleased with life and themselves have nothing left to prove |

 YES!I've seen her in California, and she was a riot! In her 80's dying her hair bright red, wearing hot red lipstick and rouge and brilliant floral prints. Yep, that's her in that booth. |
