Every word, once unheaded has become a collection strung on string treasured held closely next to skin and I finger the strand thoughtfully reflecting on how each has individually been molded and shaped polished by years of passing before being passed on handed down, each by one who has already learned that understanding will finally come to one seeking through trial and error while holding on to cherished pearls of wisdom... {with love and gratitude I thank you, for the gift you've given...} seek the flame within yourself and let your soul be cleansed by the fire of love. This reminds me of something a Native American medicine woman would have said while sitting around a fire with warriors-to-be. I like poems that can paint me a picture, although they are hardly ever in sync with the writer's view. Oh well, I thought it was wonderful! |

loved this, the read was soothing...not to mention, it humbles the soul in great awareness of the giving heart of the writer |

I am always amazed where certain gifts like pearls come from. The best thanks is to do as you've done... to string them, those gifts, one by one, to lay them close to skin, that the sheen may be brightened by time, and wisdom. The many touchings of one's fingers doesn't hurt, either. Donna...this is absolutely brilliant, in both word, and design. A ![]() |

It is amazing how sometimes we can be handed gifts and never reven realize what treasures that they are until much later... Thank you each for the kindness of your words. Peace. seek the flame within yourself |
