The sound of merging essence

***

Opening wide all the portals
to the ultimate core of me,
I bid you in, for I know
you are waiting right there,
at the edge of my soul.

You crawl into my consciousness,
you join my breath
and my mind stumbles upon
the evidence of you
moving across my center.

As if under a waterfall
of crystal rainbow strings,
we are completely submerged
by the gushing sound of life,
by this untamed flow of light.

On this surprisingly intimate
sound of colliding worlds,
I place the melody of my heart
where love’s kingdom flourishes,
diffusing the sweet scent of you.

Piercing all the walls
of apparent separation
our souls celebrate sublime fusion
upon the enchanted island
born from our own volcanic burst.

In surrendering to the sound
of our merging essence,
we awaken to the divine beauty
of what’s beyond the known,
in one single blazing moment.
