Drowsy, i sit listening to magpies scheming, wind breeze hushing, taking me to a world halfway between this one and sleep, rising up, surfacing into shaded glades, where dark butterflies fly tortuous, starring sunlight onto wings iridescent. The dark glides into me, raven black, stealing in to abduct my senses, overthrow my resisitance, until the bliss of it becomes me and i it, my struggle ended, borne happily away on the night ravens wings. |
