Circle Of Life By Paul Wilson Who ever said… what goes around comes around must have been on a merry go round Orb of life has many side roads roads less taken by most for fear of getting lost within ourselves in this circle of what we call life Is it do unto others before they do unto you or treat others the way you want them to treat you Turn the cheek of red forgive over and over words of apology empty like yesterdays fish bowl we once lived in Round and round we go trying to tie the ends of our lives up all neat and tidy like last years Christmas bows Who cares what tomorrow brings when tomorrows no longer become yesterdays and tomorrow is a stale box of crackers broken and ready to be thrown away Round and round life goes a circle with no end ask me if I give a damn while I pull the cord of release that is wearing thin I free fall from your hold on me setting my sights on reality and those who care today this circle of life has stopped revolving around you ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (06-28-2006 04:21 PM).] |

I believe I am an instant fan of yours. I am just a passerby, I only come here every now and then, and I must say this poem was one of those deep breath, smile and frown at the same time, made you think but made you happy all at once kind of poems. Such truth and wisdom. Thank you for sharing it today. Danielle |

"Turn the cheek of red forgive over and over words of apology empty like yesterdays fish bowl we once lived in" Paul, my friend, heart wrenching read. Well written, and you are a master poet in my book, sir! God Bless you! JL Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: |
