Losing Suzie Overall I think I'm a better person for having known and losing Suzie. Although our relationship didn't work out as I desired, now that she is far away, I can more clearly see some things I don't like about me. And while I was too controlling and judgmental in my past, I have become determined to be a more caring and accepting person, and I know that this world and me needs more of that. I always love a mans realization of themselves, but not only a mans, but everyones. We all have faults, and instead of dwelling on what went wrong you have to try and fix that bad parts, and tune up the great parts. Very nice write. Lots of truth in a few simple lines. I liked. |

I believe the best way to find answers and progress is by questioning ourselves, taking a real good look at ourselves...and why we constantly have the need to jump in and out of relationships, which is not healthy... we cannot succeed in any realitionship, until we come to know ourselves, our own desires, and are contented/happy with who we are and like the company we keep within ourselves...if we don't own these things already, no one else in the world can make us happy, give us contentment or save us from despair, it is not their job to do so...and if we expect that of them, we will only be disatisified with them when they fail us...no one, but no one, can hold up to that kind of expectation....we tend to put people on a pedistal, being in love with lust, and when they make a mistake, do something out of our realm of thinking, we become offended...when simply this person was only being who they were...controlling is one thing we must conquere, but we also must realize, we cannot take away another's identity to fulfill our desires and expectations.... Keep on penning James....this was exceptional and a great topic in the forums section...I believe it would help us all learn something, and progress to the next level...by communicating our thoughts on this...?????? |
