Written: April 17th, 2001 Title: Wouldn't Bleed Do not speak the thought of a thousand words, Until you follow the line as it twirls, And spirals down to the ground, Where a begger is bending and it's found, Picked up then carried away, Where it can wound someone else today, The thought of a word meant for me, Given away, I warned you, you see? Turned and broken, it's falling apart, I thought I told you to be careful with a heart, Which is burning, and falling, and left out, Please don't cry, or look away, no doubt, There is no doubt in my mind now, As you turn to leave, none at all I plead, That you left me because for you I wouldn't bleed. |
