Ordinance The ordinance of aged reserve Stays the process of observe When passing me a cloudy sky Dropping teardrops from their fly I see the windmill grind to grime The grain beneath the stones of time And cannot help to sigh, a sigh And feel the pain of death and die Even mountains wear in change No longer does it seem so strange And in the night those stars of cyme Explode and change in given time I cannot help but wonder me The things that change I cannot see Horizons that are far beyond Horizons that I can’t respond Oh me oh my, I sigh for I How far the distance that I lie |

Heh. ![]() Far be it for me to lecture you on Judaism, but I was told and have read elsewhere that Rabbi clergy have argued over the intention of the Jewish letter of the alphabet (Heh) for a couple of centuries. It is said that "Heh" means the breath of God, and it is with that breath in which G-d's creation of man was animated. The ensuing argument is whether or not G-d laughed--as in Heh-Heh, or sighed--Hehhhhhhhhhhh (oy). I maintain it is entirely possible to do both at the same time. ![]() It's a lovely day--now that I have read you. I sigh in contentment. ![]() ![]() |
