5489 “Missing Ya” 22 June 2006 Where life was Mississauga as to that of Hamilton born An element of sentiment this way upon words to address This shore of Toronto where the tribal customs do greet Ontario, this lake of surround grasping passion, or sharing hearts The birth of Christ, His salvation to give a sacrifice times to its endured need Forgiveness, yet unrepentant each wound a symbol of hope Faith in charity, loves pure presence toward a new city in times dawn A child of greater means, this heaven to grace upon a river faded, yet given in light Formed in 1974, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada takes in the settlements of Dixie, Clarkson, Cooksville, Port Credit, Streetsville, Meadowvale Village, Malton, Erindale, in the Greater Toronto Area of the Great Lakes bordered Canadian Province. All of the settlements, except for Port Credit and Streetsville, joined to together in 1968 to form the Town of Mississauga. In 1974, Mississauga incorporated as a City, this time including Port Credit and Streetsville, with a population growing to around 700,000 residents. Mississauga is Canada's sixth-largest city, located in the Peel Regional Municipality, Ontario, west of Toronto. A part of the Greater Toronto Area, it is also regarded as one of the largest suburban municipalities in North America.
