I dedicate this poem to my mother. Her boyfriend, Jason, went to a homecoming party with a girl and told her his name was Mario. No longer will she feel that pain from a man who, makes everyday rain Promises he's going to change But yet still the same No longer will I see her cry over a man who causes her pain as I wipe tears from her beautiful eyes wondering why, she put up with for past two years knowing I hate to see her cry everytime he leaves her in tears No longer will she come home to a mess Yelling and screaming cause she's upset cause he made her house look like a pigeons nest and when he ask him to clean up alittle he gets angry and disrespects her No longer will I be afraid that one day she's gonna lose it and go crazy or insane because of one guy wit code names just won't change who tends to make her cry leaving her in pain but all that's change And ladies before I go I just wanna let you know my mama let him go and don't ever mess wit a guy named named Jason/Mario. |
