Keep Of Time

~*Marge Tindal*~

A quarter past a heartache
half-an-hour beyond the rhyme
Clouds-in-cast of shadow
upon the sun dial of time~

Hour-glassed sands have drifted
to the bottom of my soul
Calendar pages flipping backwards
to the days of old~

Wristing watch in rested tick
no longer sweeps in seconds measured
Faced with keep of recorded time
in diary pages treasured~

Alarm-of-remember shatters
the keep of broken dreams
The silence of your heart
no longer touching mine
screams ..........~
and screams ...~
and screams..~

~Oh Mike .... another June in cry~

So missed are you, my little brother~

Beautiful.
I didn't have a brother, but I lost a sister to cancer and she is always in my thoughts.
This is a beautiful tribute.

Thank you all for the kind and caring thoughts~

It never gets easier ... but the memories are too precious to not be recalled~

If my worded tears of remember cause just one to call a brother, sister, daughter, son, mother, father before it's too late ... then my misson is done~

Because, because, because ... he was too precious to ever forget~

I just returned from a trip to Georgia, and as we came back into
Florida, we passed the very place where Mike was taken from us~
Stopped to place flowers of remembrance ... and could have sworn that I heard the echo of his voice, reaching out to give me some comfort ... even after all these years~

Oh, Mike ... my Mike~
