but i promised my heart to another guy

why can't you see eye to eye

                     with me on this

there's got to be some other ham 'n rye sandwich

out there pretty enough for you to dismiss

your claims that i'm the Ms.

                     you can't resist

                    enough to kiss

at an elegant dinner reception

you're giving me too much bliss

while passers-by marvel at my ability to show you affection

                        so openly

while my other friend is staring at us stunned, plus moping, see, not believing that his Spider-Man collection

               is being carried away

by a guy i swore i'd never give the time of day

                          to again
