Ordained and pre-set shore loves the sea best when it tosses and flicks dreams into a breeze because always apparent in its afterward creep the unrivaled peace of two spirits in meet. And the touch, touch again, of sea’s inner belief a balm like the hand of a virginal bride expunging the lines of an unfulfilled life and soothing the brow of an unsettled mind. But the sand that restricts sea’s openness turns outward towards a more fickle feel in attempts to unshackle a mystical scheme from whimsical goals of this reality. Sun and moon wait, the stars agitate, and the mother appears from shadows to light to dream the shore away from the strife raging within like an arsonists fire. So burns the shore’s so placid façade, the inner a cauldron of wrathful denial, and the sea’s forever pent-up desire whispers again yet another goodbye. Helen / 4 February 2006 |

Hi, Martie. Oh, yes, the emotional sea and the ever calm shore speak of many mysteries - I just listen and pass them on. ![]() |

"And the touch, touch again, of sea’s inner belief a balm like the hand of a virginal bride expunging the lines of an unfulfilled life and soothing the brow of an unsettled mind." You speak well of the sea. Nicely done. |

The lady - thank you for the read. One can probe but never can reach the depths of sea's great mystery. |

Watching the sea is like watching yourself been stripped away by the water and then the sand finally disappears but reappears its abit like the sun and the moon erase each other out |

Hi Jo - and how I've missed writing but I'm off again in a week's time. It's what the homeless do, you know, until ... maturity. Hope all is well with you. ![]() Helen Oh, and thanks for reading! Take care. |

RedStoneEB - What an insightful comment! Yes, the sea strips one of falsity but I think the sea/shore and the sun/moon compliment each other rather than wipe each other out. A joint force of nature that uplifts each one to their highest potential - something like that. ![]() |
