He waits, feeling the cold beneath his fur. Chewing grass agressively as his hunter gets near. He swallows knowing of nothing else to do. The painful noise of the wheels roaring through the field. He cowers, knowing it's his turn; about to lose his identity and everything he knows. His master embraces him, but he cannot prevent his fate. The shears quickly cut away at his fur with no emotion. He's no longer a lamb. He's one of many, naked of all his being. |
