I walk I must be truthful if I am to say I am but a little irritated don't crawl any closer oh don't you dare. I stop. re-tie my jacket around my waist and push lank hair from my face One more step, but off you go leaving a wet trail down my forehead Disgusting. One breath and all I get Is a mouthful of wet WARM, air I am having a furious battle with my singlet who refuses to leave my back alone and instead plasters itself to it A frown leaves marks of smeared mascara and I drop my bag in protest A plan of a strike on my mind. When will winter come? |

A very good description of Summer, playing-with-crayons! I felt that way when I was young. I loved Winter, and didn't enjoy the highest temperatures and humidity in Summer. However, now, at 60, I love the Summer even the worst of it, but I don't enjoy Winter as much as I used to (and Winter here in South Africa, is like Summer in many countries!). - Owl |

Owl- thanks for reading - god I can't STAND the heat. I must say I prefer the rain most definitely. And the cold. oh for the cold... farewell the ash-tray girl |
