Run2U (part 2)

I’ve been to the lowest places,
In search of a little piece of frame-
I’ve made myself the lowest person
to realise dreams,
It’s all a Cinderella story-
I’m waiting for my prince to come
and place that glass slipper upon me.

But like I always told you,
there’s a chance that glass slipper-
could shatter into a million broken dreams
and you were there to keep me safe,
You said I’ll always Run2U-
and I’ve waited moments before I called
knowing my heart was like that glass slipper.

I took you to the sea the place I used to be alone,
Now you were by my side as I shouted-
the sea held my anger and let my calmness show
I passed the secret onto you,
Wasn’t life just a way of saying I’ve lived-
but all I ever wanted was a lifetime with you
but like life moments die too.

I remember we booked that train together,
You were supposed to take me home-
you promised you’d be back
and I held on to hope you’d return,
But you were never there when I needed you-
and then my glass heart fell and broke
upon the words I’ll always Run2U

~ May her glass slipper and your heart be forever intact and never shatter.

I have Cinderella's glass slipper! Actually, I bought it as Disney World ~ and I love it! Unfortunately, it doesn't fit! I guess I'm not the princess my parents always told me I was!
