Just finished watching a japanese film i love my japanese films always say they are best at making films anyway i wrote this poem about the film the films called Run2U. Run2U It looks like I was too late, To change my life the way I wanted- that Cinderella story you told me everyone deserved to wear glass slippers, But the dream never lasts forever- and I smile now knowing I wore them and what comes after doesn’t matter. I remember the first time we spoke, But first we met in silence- always the nervous passing glances but I knew I’d Run2U, You said you liked the way I sung- but I only sung in this bar knowing you were listening. It’s not really like they say, That love is easy and joyful- it takes time to work the smiles into place we were more friends than lovers, But that’s the way I always liked it- because my soul could speak instead of just our bodies. And in the end I left you waiting for that train, I promised I’d be back for you- but I was too late to catch my dream and you moved off into the sunset, And then it was over before it had time to settle- but know that I smiled in my death on those thoughts of you I’ll always Run2u. |
