 Artist: Linda L. Dowd In His Light ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ +*+*+*+*+*+ I'm haunted by the hinterlands, where once I used to roam. ~ Aimlessly in wander, with no place to call my home. The trees were stark and barren, and flowers never bloomed. The skies were dark and threatening, and all my dreams were doomed. I'd stumble as I made my way, across the rocky plain. A warming sun was hidden by dark, heavy clouds of rain. Cold winds blew incessantly, and chilled me to the core, “Please help me God, to carry on!” ~Each day I would implore. When all my strength had ebbed away, gold rays pierced steel skies. I beheld a landscape burgeoning, as tears of joy brimmed seeing eyes. Trees were lush with foliage, flowers bloomed as I looked on. I was filled with awe and wonderment, as I witnessed a new dawn. I was flooded with emotion, as I felt the love of God. He wrapped me in a warm cocoon, as I stood upon His sod. When I had lost my faith in Him, I had tumbled into Hell. ~ Now I walk beneath blue skies, and in His Light, I dwell. +*+*+*+*+*+ “We are born of star dust, And to the stars we shall one day return.” ~ Linda L. the wings of an angel can only fly thru the darkness of the deep night of sky to see the colors that one hopes to see from the earth looking up at times we forget we forget we forget to ask God above rainbows appear thru the minds our thoughts if only within we accept him in thru our Earth Angel comes the words that reminds us from the laughter and brightness feelings that shines thru even though sometimes from shields of tears Bernie love the write, and oh yea the pic is great A smile a day keeps the world in smile's.
