Boxers lunge forward at the sound of the bell Misting sweat looms above the fighters with a pungent smell Swollen muscles bulge form their shoulders Rock-hard gloves slide off the jaw like tremendous boulders Devastating blows to the jaw seem endless to the eye Mouth pieces ejected from the mouth, I tell no lie Blood streaming from the mouth, it doesn’t seem right Insurmountable pain seethes through his body at the end of the fight |

Very descriptive writing, here. Sounds as though it doesn't end until the pain sets in. Would you be telling the brutal truth here? Enjoyed the read, and again, I was struck by the graphic descriptions. Shenachie |

Welcome to Pip!! Loved the detail in this.. I recently have been looking into boxing (at least getting the training) very expensive.. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
