I have not yet written of the sunsets But I have compared them to you my love So now I will record for the suns rest It shines harsh for many hours above Yet for a few moments it stays tender Such splendor in color and lights warm grace A beauty that’s so that words can’t render Its draw grows greater the clouds are so placed In my dreams I have seen us together Watching the light as it’s fading away We know that its night stars fill the weather Yet still we watch for the sun comes again So there are sunsets setting all places So raise the sun to warmthen our faces |

Based on Wordsworth I think. A deep underlying observation of the reality of living with someone when love may not always be there, if I guess correctly. Makes you thoughtful, but if someone doesn't have that ability, you might need to rewrite it, in blinding light. dave |

I read this as a quiet moment, shared between space and time...between two people...the endless rise and fall of a sigh. Have enjoyed the emotions of your muse. TD |

I enjoyed this... and themute you need to check Wordsworth out... this site is nice: http://www.bartleby.com/145/wordchrono.html check these poems out: It is a beateous evening, calm and free I wandered lonely as a cloud The world is too much with us; late and soon check out some other Romantics as well. I enjoyed you sonnet though, mute. |
