Yesterday, you loved me. Tonight, I'm just not sure You say you've given all that you can take, now you don't care anymore. I don't have the answers You say I haven't got a clue. I guess I was standing in my way and blocked my view of you. I've heard it said that lovers are friends, caught on fire. We've both been burned Don't let our friendship turn into a funeral pyre. Words were thrown, like daggers. We both bear the scars Slamming door and an engines roar Lord, I guess I went too far. Honey, aint it funny Now its all so clear All the times you spoke your mind and I was too blind to hear. I wonder if you'll come back home? Is my hold on you that strong? How much time before you change your mind and can I hold out that long? I don't know where to turn I have never learned how to bring my body down on bended knees. I don't know how to cry But now, I think if I make it through tonight... Its all gonna dawn on me. |

Yes, love is fraught with danger. Perhaps women need to accept that the deaf and blind are simply made that way and men need to acknowledge the simple "knowing" of women ~ and bow to that. ![]() |
