standing on a shadow's lace

I Know Where You Are

today the lilies rise
proud, tall and strong
stretching towards the sun
and from their throats
is a joyous multi-colored lullaby
silver now touches my hair
but my heart still beats along
do not worry my darling
I sleep safe
between my dreams
covered by whispers
of white linen thoughts
and this
of a thousand lifetimes
that I have lived
still calls me to my destiny
I know where you are
it is in the hollow
of me

just some words cut out
from the diary of my heart
