Foraging The Damp Of Night You bring the thunder Colors flashed upon my soul In rush, the winds falling strapless Take my breath away Darkness is its sensation Tempting in finality of speech Roaming silently the curve of lumen Gripping me in the fullness of a chill My breath makes sketch on the air Seized in the shiver of a thirst Guided only by the sound of fever Mind pacing, tumbles in clover tide Teeth bitten patience conjures seethe You glow in the strike of midnight Giving to the storm new vibration Elemental sighs thrust fire as lightning Melting glass but for the core of perfect oblivion Thanking God for you in songs of happy tears Blending form in unison the spent of stars Unsure of hemisphere or longitude Heart to heart entangled in spin Making print upon damp grass... Molding promise of insatiable yearn Hunger’s burn deceives the very beat of reason We explore together Tender comb of starlight glisten Seeking, giving in the cling of ecstasy Wandering, beneath a blankets poetry Copyright Kkh 5/17/06 |

Anyone have a damp towel? Excellent K. Such a blending of metaphors and sensual images. Well done! |

I mine your poems looking for those "jewel lines" you do so well. "In rush, the winds falling strapless Take my breath away" Beautiful TD. |
