A Poet Who Cares

A poet who cares
in signature to the tune
Of this open heart to give others
in words and works shared to a room

Of happenings along the way
even if motive and esteem are not all of self
To try ones best in gathering in happenings
to that - when happiness was better health

Of friendships and foes
those other woes
With or without
or of the spirit within

These days of multitude
of far too many to count
Because to care was to give
much to all of beholden in amount
