Moon of Passion,
Sowing Moon,
Moon of Seeding Hope,
I feel not the fires of my youth
but their stir of memories;
I want to rend the earth beneath my feet
to thrust the seeds of life within
to raise the feel,
the feel of needing to be full,
that wakes the earth this Spring
to bear the fruit of promises
in caring that I share
my life’s blood mingled with the rain
and simple sighs of seedlings
daring to take root
to seize the force of life that flows
up from the very core
to join the Sun here,
right here
where life’s begun by will alone,
and so whatever can be grown
here by turn of hand
will with me or without me be;
Moon of Harvest’s Bounty Dreams
guide my hands and thoughts
to set my spirit free.

Oh, dear icy, what a lovely write!  I can so relate and this -

"Moon of Harvest’s Bounty Dreams
guide my hands and thoughts
to set my spirit free."

Beautiful!

Mr. C., this was so beautifully said.  At least we can watch the growth.   ....jo

icebox....such is the earth that it anoints the dirt of life as well as the spirit.  Such a lovely poem!

I love the stunning vibrancy of this and its embrace of Nature and Birth and Hope and Immediacy (if there wasn't such a word a moment ago, there is now - you inspired it)!  Thank you.  Verrrrrrrrry much enjoyed!  Also am very glad to see you in this wonderfully active mood.
