I wonder how long
without her kiss,
before her precious name
will no longer pass
through my lips.

I wonder how many days
we'll be apart
until thoughts of her
leave my sadened heart.

I wonder how long.

Sweet memories may last for a long time, James, as long as your heart won't get distracted ...
meanwhile sing your sad song, it will touch other sad hearts and you will know when the sad tune sounds wrong.
