Flat land and clear sky, Long road with no Ride, Hide from the cars that pass you by. Soft wind and Warm Scent, Move fast and mean what you meant, Cross the bridge, but don’t fall in. Look at the water, Look at the reflection, Look at the moon Look at its perfection. In life we walk a road We walk a path We walk to forget We walk towards the past We pace our selves We race our selves to an end that is on the horizon. Run till the wind carries your soul and everything ties in. Run to escape the rising sun Run to Find Where you are and where you’re from Run till you are numb Now walk till you remember Now fall and whimper Beat the ground with your open fist Beat the sound this still exists BEAT the Chains that bind your wrists Dream a Dream and peel the skin FIGHT the ground that has you pinned Lay on your back watch the sky watch the stars let them die Let your visual field dissolve and bleed |

"Lay on your back watch the sky watch the stars let them die" this is a great line. loved the whole poem though. it transported me to another world, made me think, which is good. |
