It's a misty moon tonight
and I'm wondering
if you've missed me.

Do you remember
the last time we kissed?
It was on a night much like this;
but that mist was just
a small solo cloudburst
trapped inside my eyes.

What are you doing tonight?

Could it be that you might see
this same misty moon tonight?
And could it even be
that you might remember me?

I liked how you played on words and sounds very much and ... the wondering rings so familiar.  I bet a lot can relate!  Much enjoyed your beautiful poem.

Smiling here, in thanks. I found I liked the sound of mist, missed and kissed, and it just happened to be a misty moon night here.
Of course, I did have someone in mind.

You just reminded me--

tomorrow night, I'm having a party--a very special celebration of the moon and I'm inviting you to help us pray for peace.

We need you, Kacy...

The moon will be there. I'll bring the "mist".

love you my sistah

It would be an honor to be at your mooning party! LOL. We can read poetry, dance, drink, and cuss out the government.

Those misty moons sure do make us wonder don't they though?  Thought provoking writing Kacy, as per your usual.  Much enjoyed this.

Well, you certainly put me in a mood. I have had someone on my mind all day and your poem
wrappped it up and put a big bow on it.

It's just perfect Kacy.

dont we all wonder at one point if the people we care about, that are far away or dont know we exsist, are staring at the same moon and thinking of us?

I look at the night skies and wonder, too, if someone is looking up and thinking of me.

loved Barry's reply because I had the same reaction ...when I  was given my first french kiss

smile....

no mist upon my moon last night.

In fact, she was fat and full and glorious, perfect for the Buddha birthday...

Friday the 13 too.

I was chuckling all night....

I am sure HE did think of it, because I think what made an impression on you had to have made one on him too. Now, softly call his name tonight and I am sure you will hear his quiet reply, "I am here". Best to you, martyjo
