Too Many Years To Understand (Lessons Learned) "Lessons don't just set in. There's a process one grows through, a leading up to them." I was in a recent relationship. I gave it my all. Still she didn't appreciate my effort. My happiness was headed for a fall. It hurts not to gain someones love when you treat them the best you can. Thats how my ex-wife felt, when she gave up on me. It took me too many years to understand. JamesLee May07 2006 Its not much fun when the present and the past join together as one. |

I liked the poem that you wrote. It is so true, we learn and we grow with each experience. With experiences, we cry and there are too many tears to count. that is what I got from your poem. I really liked it. Patricia |

James I wish there were words I've been married what often feels like 278 years, and some times I wonder why we haven't got a bigger microwave for when I lose my temper or when like now I have a 1 1/2 inch thick pile of contracts via the Internet I have gone for, sleeping in another room with the mobile under my pillow in case I lose a call. I suppose I have made a point of not understanding a woman unless she wished me to do so. If I got passed the 1st three months, it would range in at 2 years. My current wife, made a suggestion to me on an underground train. Bob - the folk singer - had a song - 'Another cup of Coffee, fore I go'. I am still there in the morning brewing it up and leaving it there, 'as she wants it', 'should she want it'. Best of luck mate Dave |
