We met, my Love, so long ago, When youth was still a king; Onto your slender finger I slipped An infinite golden ring. And times were great, and times were rough; Tested was worth of the gold - But the joyful “’till death do us part” The only words to behold. Ah, those were most wonderful years Swept in a blink of an eye; Still I am caught in the spell of your smile, Wrapped in the clasp of your sigh. Follow me into the depth of the sea, Guide me into the sun; Wherever our twin steps shall lead - The twain shall vanish as one... t |
