Until the beetles come, our garden grows And our love will grow as well Let our love be forgotten As we humbly hope it will Though beauty fading and skin is weaker Our love is still as strong All who wonder how this can be Love for them is wrong Tender is the day Brightly burning as our nights Love is like the beating heart Oh softly beats away Our lives should be filled with laughter Running to the brook of love The water has a way of mending What love we always have If the piper should come, to take me away Then we’ll run to the end of our days The flowers in the valley need summer rays And like the flowers, we close our days With the seasons that pass us by We look above and we know why True love baby True love True love for you and me Believe me when to you I say Our love will be forgotten The humble wish we always made Evermore the time passed in waiting For the beetles to come, and take us away love flies to the mountains top Flying to be, fly till the old times crumbled to the sea There will still be you and me Tender love, Tender, tender is our love |
