As the calm breeze gently caresses my hair A rising emotion echoes in my lonely heart, Gently embraced by perfumes within the air My movements are embodied by a new start. An image of a broken soul suddenly appears As the bluish sky is overrun by many clouds, Swiftly spreading raining thoughts with fears I stand soaked by these unwished for crowds. Venturing through a darkened road for cover An area forgotten by pouring nature is found, Trapped within walls sealing a lighted shelter Voices are unheard through the raining sound. Standing beneath a veil blocking this weather The passing sand has been broken into pieces, Condemned by unfading nature to the forever All emotions fall shattered by watery breaches. As the pausing coldness slowly reaches within My heart flows clouded by a mist of unknown, A useless soul now vanishing in the air so thin It escapes from my body to this raining shown. An empty vessel now pointless in an existence Shattered by timing fate uncaring of my heart, Dropping sand now revived by godly presence My life withers away unnoticed by this restart. The rhyming was very well done, and I enjoyed the wordly painted tale that was told. Enjoyed. "Melvin, the best thing you got going for you is your willingness to humiliate yourself." |
