We dropped bread crumbs of ideas
Glistening

We dropped ideas of bread
Feeding

We skated as we walked
Across a fur wrapped porch

Wrapped with the bread crumbs of ideas and a feeling of hunger

And we knew we were hungry
Begging for a roll or something stale and not too old
But in a nice kind hall

Always polite
Always old stock
Always raidly eaten
Filling up a hole

Dave

Ah yes, the human psyche!  Your metaphors are dazzling.  I like how one subject can actually declare truth for something completely not of its origin.  I rather enjoyed this stoic poetry...Very nice.  Thanks for sharing.

Bread...yes, food for thought as well as survival.
Dave, you mentioned Thomas Hood in replying to my 'freesia' poem. There was an English poet by that name who wrote a poem entitled "Silence."
Is this the same Thomas Hood?

Dave, I really like this.  Makes me think I need to drop a few more myself.

Makes me think

I should have gone to bed

I've just spent a few hours listening to "Simon and Garfunkle" on DVD

Only 7.40am here

And hell for the phone calls as I look for work

Automatic emails on available jobs are already hitting

Thanks

There were so many ideas when bread crumbs came as an idea

I know what I wrote and why but I freelanced the head to come up with this but I wouldn't call it inspiration
