Giving Form So many times I have watched you walk away Feeling earth’s very core abandon gravity Trickling the sensation of loss Merely profound the intensity of hope Searing my ego to its proper place away I have known your fear Without a doubt, the mask I wear myself Deluge in the solitary times conceal Lengthening my legs Insistent and resistant to rejections whip Yet I myself have not remained unscathed Seeding pearls upon my tongue Hoping for the words to touch you Pressed against your side in every thought Weary of a long and lonely wish Holding on to reasons I remain but yours Overflowing the restraint in attempted strength Though all I have ever wanted This love that presses urgently to bud My gift, yet poised and rapt extends my arms And looking up at you, overcome Of a treasure fit to hold your heart Should you receive me into spring, with honor Copyright Kkh 5/6/06 [This message has been edited by ThisDiamond (05-07-2006 08:52 AM).] |

very sad, that we humans, become more secluded with each and every mean act or words from others....so that when something good comes along, we are afraid to trust the motives... beautiful poem |
