Forever Friends
~*Marge Tindal*~

Time could simply not erase
the lines of joy written on either face
For in a moment it was plain to see
Friends for always ... and foreverly
We met today and shared a smile
and a hug that lasted a long, long while
Liz, dear lady ... all I've ever heard is true
you are a beauty ... through and through~

Sharing this time with my Bill
brought pleasure that gave me another thrill
for I've always told him ... now he knows it's true
when poets' hearts gather, there's no shade of blue
that outshines the skies of a Florida day
with friend, meeting friend ... in such a lovely way~

***Today was a special day for all of us***
~Liz ... thank you for being just as sweet and real as I've always known you to be~

Marge, the sweetness of a real friend comes through your poem.  It just proves that a friend is a friend, no matter distance, time and space. And we know them instantly!

It's wonderful when you get to meet someone you know from here, and finally put a hug in place to seal the friendship isn't it?  I am glad you two got a chance to finally meet and enjoy each other's company.

Lady Santos is, indeed,
A poet I will always read..
A meter maid of first degree
Who always gets applause from me.

To meet our pipsters face to face
Instead of in this  cyberspace
Brings actual reality
Into our world of poetry.

Liz and Marge, two icons of
This little home we've come to love
Together in these photos here
Bring smiles of pleasure to this 'deer.

Great you two could get together. Of course, Sy and I are a little put out that we weren't invited or, at least, that Liz didn't continue down to see us - but, then again, we're old news, having met several times before. I'll try to calm Sy down but he's really upset, walks around mumbling and kicking stray cats.....but we'll be fine. Don't worry about us....

Actually, I just arrived home at 1:20 AM and found this wonderful message and pictures. I've got to tell you poets who have never met Marge, that she is just as warm and loving in person as she is in her poetry and in all the wonderful comments she makes to everyone's poetry. And what a wonderful and talented man beside her. We played his original rock song in his van and MArge and I danced in the parking lot like two teenagers.
THank you MArge for making the effort to visit me while I was there in Florida. It was wonderful! Wish we could do it more often.
Thanks Margie girl for this beautiful post

“A hop, skip and jump”, she assured me it would be
So she hopped, skipped and jumped right over here to visit me
I was waiting in the lobby for a poetess from PIP
And she snuck right up behind me with a hop, jump and skip

She’s a vibrant little lady with a big enormous smile
And a heart that stretches way beyond a distant country mile
With a sexy voice to greet you and a pretty, pretty face
And she gives a hug as snuggly as a teddy bear embrace

Bill was talking ‘bout his music because music is his game
And his song had been recorded with a really clever name
Then he charged up the ignition, Margie put the CD in
We were dancing to the music (just a hairline short of sin)

Making fun out of the moments, making moments from a beat
As we rocked across a parking lot into the summer heat
Turning music into memories, turning memories into smiles
That are etched upon a photograph as wide as country miles

Thanks Marge, for the memories
Love
Liz

How come I wasn't there in Orlando to meet again these two beautiful ladies which I had the pleasure of meeting before.

But who knows...maybe I'll get another chance...some day.
