standing on a shadow's lace

Silences

I am
far too much trouble
for my own good
at times
and rearrange things
for others instead
of my own needs
bouncing between
heaven and hell
I have no loss
of words
my mind and vocabulary
erupts without warning
yet, I am
hesitant at times
from reluctant repercussions
but I can not control
my heart
so it is easier
for now
to say the words
only to myself
in private
one sided conversations

It's been a long while, good to read you again, and as always Helen, I relate....you always get right to the point, but leave so much power.

Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world!
