One thin monkey on my back
I held him to feed
and nursed him to fat
even as teeth nibbled me to the raw

I have one thin monkey
and laugh when he gnaws

as if I were tougher than he.

serenity,
Not into thin monkeys, now there are some chunky ones I'd be interested in. LOL

i'm what some people call "slender."

me, i just call it what it is and say i'm skinny (though, with my wife's cooking, not as skinny as i used to be)

back in the day, i used to tell people i was wiry. in fact, that's the truth of the matter - lean and sinewy... but you know what? when i want something to move, it moves. i'v often heard the phrase "you're awfully strong for such a skinny guy"

small doesn't mean weak, eh?

btw - i saw the title and started laughing.

grins to Mike--we don't talk about the "elephant"...

As for that monkey? That little expletive--his weight fluctuates so much, I quit braggin' on him!

love and smiles to all, with my gratitude for reading.

and C? admit, I was right about the tie...
