Eyes to Daze

04 May 2006

Where every day was a western summer
an Australian sunrise to beholden
As to Christine in being understood
a new heart, a seaward thought

All of innocence as to intended
neither to judge, in was to be
This every day of a smile
the esteem of being inside

Listening to a lullaby
as waves surrender to sand
To dance with a melody
hands held, bodies taught

Life and its lessons
a mother to her children
Gentleness to kind
another day of breaking summer

“Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master
he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able
to make him stand. One man esteemeth one day above another:
another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man
be fully persuaded in his own mind.”
Romans 14:4-5 KJV
