sounds of a clear high voice The waiting maid, impassions great attention eager prolific opportunities, crimsoned like a newly purchased inner shore to the highest bidder dimpled hands of innocent creatures gaze on sweet kisses of warmth bosoms where the inner child rests we are the passengers of this refuge where our bleeding hearts brood for candy coated bits longing for the release where the owl rides the hours after nightfall of pulsating fires and a feeling of fullness sensations accompanied by natures luminous thoughts and quadroons of broadened baskets sing heart rendering lamentations unknown in any other translation of life yet, we are slaves on the auction-block of this sweet tempered place of hobby and handcuffs we would bargain with demons to ascend to with tearful eyes, just to touch gentle, the dove of embrace within speaking distance to the moon, faces shaven with grey hairs all plucked out… where green forces come hither, tearing to pieces any wildest confusion dismayed by excitement employed with streams of intimacy where some temporary sentinel becomes our infantry of code what we live for what we die for steadfast footing where moments leave the condemned man…touched by gold in early sunlight leaves a distraction for the day like a stroke of energy, larger then life unthinkable arcs of oscillation a place distant, inaccessible, yet, where we rise toward the surface to be hanged, then drowned… we crown in full possession of this physical sense of love a veining heartbeat with audible rushes of spiritual music eddies the inner eye of some visible world where gigantic slides within a few inches of our conscience souls…touch remarkable if only for a moment... we think of love... we think with feelings... _________________ Lee J. |

we are the passengers of this refuge where our bleeding hearts brood for candy coated bits longing for the release where the owl rides the hours after nightfall of pulsating fires and a feeling of fullness sensations accompanied by natures luminous thoughts ---------------------------------- Each time I read you I find myself awaiting each next line, to see where your thoughts lead next. Absolutely love this Lee. |

LeeJ every time I read you I feel like I've been somewhere a bit sacred, like "within speaking distance of the moon." :-) |

Just bumping this up because I'm saving it for tomorrow's reading - had a bit too much wine this evening and I know I'll need a clear head. |

"eddies the inner eye of some visible world where gigantic slides within a few inches of our conscience souls…touch remarkable if only for a moment... we think of love... we think with feelings..." And then perhaps it's the ultimate cruelty when that moment lasts for years. Thank you for yet another amazing write, LeeJ. You see and feel so very far. |

"we would bargain with demons to ascend to with tearful eyes, just to touch gentle, the dove of embrace within speaking distance to the moon," ..."touch remarkable if only for a moment... we think of love... we think with feelings..." Dear Lee, you are a remarkable poet. Just these words are an entire poem all by themselves. I have visited such hallways of thought recently, too. Thank you so much for sharing. Marvelous read. ~ Klassy |
