This might not be the right venue for these thoughts for UK Armed Forces

(something on the UK failing to protect Airmen as they failed to protect Soldiers)

Dave

Barrack room shouts
Are shouts

Getting rations
As they come

But no-one
Ever put our lives in doubt

When does the Treasury put more importance on it's careers

Than it does

On those it sends to die for the want of protection that could have been supplied and was witheld, or why else

Would Airmen and Soldiers have been more that a statistic

My name

Yet again

to this

Dave

Hi Dave
A lot of what you write I simply don't understand..sorry.
This one I do and you are right. Most soldiers are nothing but a number to the rest of the world, but everything for their friends and family. And I horpe they know that some of us care.
It is truely sad :-)

Any soldier should expect to be used as a tool. At its best, the military should serve and protect its civilian base. However, there are some very basic differences in countries where the residents are considered to be property of their government and not the other way around. The phrase, "a subject of the Crown," is a very telling phrase.

If I misuse a tool

Do I blame the tool

Do I take money away from the right tool

To use else where

In my own home where I bear the cost

I do

Where others bear the cost, I have a legal duty not to be negligent

I do I have to admit treat Piptalk as an ideas machine, a sounding box, a brain storming engine

Ideas when they stay in your head die

Thoughts in an environment are often productive in ways you dont in yourself understand

Most I write are ideas and at some point they will hopefully become more than that.

A lot have taken years to come together as I do nothing else but record them

Dave
