Staring to the unsure distant future. Why are humans only concerned with the here and now? This world of beauty will not be seen by future generations. What will they be left with? A time when they are unable to go outside, breathe the air, feel the wind on their faces, without a mask to filter polutants. We take, literally, all of the natural world for granted, leaving only sharp stinging sand to blast the next human age.
''As the deer pants for steams of water, so my soul pants for you O God'' Psalm 42:1

~ 'Tis indeed, a sad state of affairs. Poets such as yourself, are at least preserving the images of Nature's beauty for future generations, through your poems.

"What will they be left with?"
Such a sad question Goldenrose. It's a shame it must be asked. Great work.
