Distant mountains hide in purple haze beyond fields of green, dancing through sun rays dotted in pink and amethyst who could resist rainbow tinted hues on this scenic tour so alluring to the eyes with visuals rising to greet the skies beyond the horizon blended with perfect formation lies a canvas of beauty in wondrous fields of creation. seek the flame within yourself and let your soul be cleansed by the fire of love. This was hard for my eyes to read (teeny fancy font and bad eyes) but I am glad I made the effort. It reminded me of strings...orchestrated. very beautiful and the understanding of it made my heart swell, wishing I'd seen this. a lovely rendering |

in my own poetry collection there is this that reading your poem reminded me of much in relation to a dominant feature of where I live As I look from my window right now at an 8260 feet mountain peek However it is also said, "if you can see the mountain it is going to rain, and if you cannot see the mountain, it is already raining." I hope you do not mind me leaving my New Zealand mountain view here. the View From My Window However this poem below was composed in another location, yet relates to the same view in awe. 4244 Thus in Awe 02 September 2005 If you could see what my eyes do see To look upon vista and absorb thus in awe Such grandeur this beauty around to seek and live All of this to you I would in openness give If you could see the glorious peak Your voice would be struck down in void to speak High upon a mountain top this heart views for you To look to the height of the sky © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |

Creation is wonderful, but what about the mind that beholds it and writes about it. Ah, I, too, must ask about the mind that dreams it and creates it. Thanks for the beautiful way you have expressed it. |
