No Offence

No offence,
Grimaced with age,
My hand is out,
I've only gave,

But for liberty's sake!
She just wanted to see,
The musical box,
Wrapped in a tree,

East and West,
Directions from stars.
Funny man,
Getting drunk at the bar.

The Egyptians got it,
They knew the riddle,
Erected a face,
Whose gaze shown so little.

In that wisdom's letter,
A symbol of love,
Could save the world,
God's chortle above.

6-1-1

slaves 'oft love their masters.
