Listening to every heart

0 posted 2006-04-28 10:57 PM

Several years ago, our Martie allowed that our voices mesh...

and I know there will be reason for them to mesh again...soon.

Voices Meshing

She stands, hearing me, on the other side of the Rockies
Her voice travels in song waves, with no slip of travail
E'en when my wailing takes me to my knees
Listening is to hear the sun through the gale

And northern wind, blow me ever away
Such sweet depth of thought is not constrained
For only one can hear what this heart would say
Into the mind like piano's fingered refrain

And the echo lies within the valley's core
The cry and laughter fly with harmonies wings
That I would sing this song of you, forevermore
Then like listening wind I have learned how to sing

" It matters not this distance now  " Excerpt, Yesterday's Love

Yes, I hope they do. I think that would be the best thing that could happen, for both of you -- poetically and in every other way.

in knowing Martie and how souls in spirit can indeed touch over a distance

I feel your words, in this merger of voice

a poet who cares
