Sentiment, as bud upon the waterfall of green Each morning, as the sun advances will Not too sweet, the crown of what may come Yet promise in reserve cooks quietly in secret That I wear the finer silks, reposed in leaves Welcoming back the heart song that moves me In translucent theme to touch your hand and hold it For I know the familiar place I am carried Each morn the next step leads along the way Opened more, withholding less in every day So soon, the simmer of a summer dream shall rise Presented to our hearts in sweet surprise Copyright Kkh 4/28/06 |

Honeysuckle may have the most heavenly scent on earth ThisDiamond. This poem has all the fragrance of that blessed blossom! Very Beautiful! :-) |

I love the final stanza! It comes really out of nowhere to hit you with some melodic knowledge. |

"That I wear the finer silks, reposed in leaves Welcoming back the heart song that moves me" Oh my. There are places TD, where honeysuckle is considered a nuisance. Guess you set those folks straight. It's a dainty, sweet smelling poem. [This message has been edited by The Lady (04-29-2006 12:16 AM).] |

I see her, walking through the forest, toward the meadow of light... a beautiful picture to start my day, Kathleen. Thank you. |
