4798 Ever and More 30 December 2005 At night her heart opens a door There to this place of ever and more Her eyes and smile linked in promises to keep Those tears hidden in silence to those nights she ponders to sleep Awaken to another day ready to fight the world in her soul To go to this presence - being her reality made whole Left behind in yesterday a locality no longer as safe as before Her heart to timing rhythm beating from this place of ever and more “Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.” Ezekiel 37: 26 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
